Your challenge
-Lead and develop our purchasing team and take responsibility for strategic and operational procurement.
-Build and maintain strong and sustainable supplier relationships, conduct efficient negotiations and keep an eye on contract management.
-Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure material availability and increase cost efficiency.
-Analyze market trends and identify potential savings.
-Ensure compliance with quality standards and sustainability requirements.
-Work closely with other departments such as development, production and logistics to optimize the supply chain and support development projects.
-Participate operationally in day-to-day business to ensure direct and efficient implementation of strategies.
-Report to the VP Operations and provide purchasing performance metrics.
